Hotpot Pictures becomes exclusive video content provider for Delia Online with Waitrose

In an exciting new move, Waitrose will again be working alongside Delia Smith. The grocer will bring the Delia Online Cookery School, a Hotpot Pictures Production, to Waitrose TV for the first time.

Delia commissioned Hotpot to produce the first series of her online cookery lessons and video techniques in March 2013. Quality production and the ability to connect with large online audiences were a priority. Delia said:

“Everyone knows I’m obsessed with teaching people the basics of cooking and to do this most effectively I’ve gone for the best food production team in the country.”

The collaboration between Delia Online and Hotpot Pictures proved incredibly successful and Waitrose TV will launch the films on 5th September. The content will build over the course of two years and will sit on a new ‘Cookery School’ tab on Waitrose TV as well as on

Waitrose Marketing Director Rupert Thomas:

“We’re thrilled to be joining forces again on the Delia Online Cookery School with Waitrose, which we believe will be the definitive online tool for cookery tuition… our online content is now an integral part of our customer communications.”

Waitrose’s commitment to digital content demonstrates the success of reaching an ever-growing online audience and, with years of experience communicating with viewers, it’s something Hotpot Pictures are well placed to do.

Hotpot’s Creative Director Graham Sherrington:

“Waitrose TV launching Delia’s series on their site and commissioning new content is huge testament to how popular online viewing has become.  It’s very exciting.  We are delighted to be the exclusive provider and look forward to bringing our skills and expertise to even larger audiences and new clients in the future.”
